KLEURJEKIST

A special collaboration with Kleurjekist.
Kleurjekist supplies illustrated funeral coffins made of unvarnished, poplar wood. Kleurjekist’s illustrations turn a coffin into a true work of art, and can be painted by relatives: (grand)children, a group of friends or colleagues.

The creative process and result are part of a colorful farewell and contribute to a conscious and positive grieving process.

I was allowed to create 2 abstract designs that can be found on the site of Kleurjekist. In addition to my designs, beautiful illustrations were made by Lobke van Aar – illustration, Kars+Boom and Maartje van den Noort.
